Welcome to the website of EKG Nordstadt, a small not-for-profit food co-op in Hanover-Nordstadt.

Do you also miss the lack of a small organic grocery store in the neighborhood? Then you might like to visit us at our place located opposite the Nordstadt hospital (Haltenhoffstraße 38).

We order from a regional organic distributor as well as directly from local producers, such as a bakery located in the south of Hanover. It is very important to us that the products we sell are as organic, as fair-trade and of course as tasty as possible, while also being affordable.

And the best part: We are an Einkaufsgemeinschaft, which translates to purchasing community. That means: Together with us, you can decide what and how our store is selling. And you can e.g. order a unit of some special product for yourself.
